Artist’s Biography
Dane LaChiusa, b 1961, Detroit, Michigan currently resides in the Bronx. He acquired a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in 1983 and has worked for over 40 years as an Art Director in addition to a career as an illustrator and teaching artist. Dane’s background includes a one-man show at Pontifical Catholic University, Sao Paulo Br, in addition to group exhibitions at Espaco das Artes, Volta Retonda, Br., Fazenda da Posse, Barra Mansa, Br., Artist’s Space NY, The Sensory Evolution Gallery, The Leslie Lohman Museum, The Carter Burden Gallery, StartaArta Gallery, The Prince St. Project Space, Here Art Gallery, and CPop Gallery, Detroit and the Satellite Art Club, Brooklyn NY.
